Trending Products - Report
Compare product sales in a period against the period just before it.
The Trending Products report shows which products are selling more, and which are selling less, than they were before.

What is compared
The report compares the selected period against the period of the same length immediately before it. If you select 1 to 30 June, it is compared with the 30 days that end where June begins.
Both periods are shown under the report title as This period and Prior period, so you can always check what is being compared.
Products are ranked by their change in revenue. Revenue is quantity multiplied by the selling price after the item discount. Fully refunded and deleted invoices are left out. Variants are tracked separately.
Summary cards
- Revenue and Units Sold for this period, each with the percentage change against the prior period.
- Trending Up: how many products earned more than before, including new ones.
- Trending Down: how many products earned less than before.
Top Movers
A chart of the strongest risers (up to eight), with a bar for the prior period next to a bar for this period.
Trending Up
Up to ten products with the largest growth. Products that sold in both periods come first, ranked by percentage growth.
A product marked New had no sales in the prior period, so there is no percentage to show. New products are listed after the risers, ranked by their revenue this period.
Trending Down
Up to ten products with the largest decline. Products that sold in both periods come first, ranked by percentage drop. Products that sold in the prior period and not at all in this one follow, at -100%.
